Mongolian traditional production patterns, living styles and customs have witnessed fundamental changes. All these changes indicate nomadic culture may one day retreat forever from the historical stage and so the author travelled thousands of kilometers to document and try to protect the disappearing nomadic culture of the Mongols. He visited almost all of the areas inhabited by Mongols in China and took more than twenty thousand photos of traditional nomadic life.
