The Classics of Shandong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Directory is divided into two volumes, embodies 419 intangible cultural heritage directories in two batches which Shandong Provincial People’s Government has already brought out and 153 of them are declared state-level intangible cultural heritage projects. The Directory is the first classics which introduces the provincial directory systematically. Meanwhile, the book chooses typical pictures to reflect the precious resources and protection work of our provincial intangible cultural heritage by using pictures and texts. At the same time, it is translated into English. The Directory has separate volumes according to the batches and is compiled according to the classification criteria of the national intangible cultural heritage. This book takes the Shandong provincial intangible cultural heritage directory which issued by Shandong Provincial Government as the order and compiled by one project with different protection units. Every project has the introduction of location, history, basic content, main value, protection, etc.
