Taijiquan, or shadow boxing, is part of the rich cultual heritage of China. It is an art in which slow and gentle movements embody vigor and force. In recent years, the number of people studying Taijiquan in various parts of China and throughout the world has been increasing. However, it is not easy for exercisers to make the right gesture and the appropriate movements. This chart, by showing the standard techniques of manoeuvring the body in practising Taijiquan, would give great help to interested people.
