About the author
Iman Stratenus was born in 1970 in Deventer, the Netherlands. He studied law in the Netherlands (University of Utrecht) and in the USA (University of Pennsylvania). After working as a corporate lawyer with De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, he joined the consulting firm Mcginsey & Company, in the Amsterdam office. In 2003 he joined TNT, where he initially worked as a strategy and M&A advisor to the Board of Management. Iman became the Country General Manager for TNT Vietnam in 2005.He moved to China in 2007, initially as Marketing & Sales Director and, as of 2008, as Managing Director (Greater) China. In 2011, Iman left TNT. After a year as General Manager of international SOS in Beijing, Iman decided to devote his professional life to making the world a better place. He joined the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Iman lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, with his wife, O.uirine, and their four children, Julie, Coco, genine, and Hugo.
