About Author 冰心(1900—1999),born in Fuzhou,was a well—known Chinese writer of children's literature and translator in the 20th century.Her representative works include Letters to Young Readers,A Myriad of Stars,and Spring Waters.As a productive translator,Bing Xin translated quite a few works into Chinese.She had a very distinctive writing style: graceful,restrained,concise,smooth,and highly expressive.
