According to the research model of interpretation theory, this textbook is divided into 11 charpters. The first two charpters is the discussion about the interpretation ontology and interpreting history research. It inspires and guides more the readers to pay attention to the multidimensional angle of view about interpretation research to avoid viewing narrowly the development history and the ""name & reality"" of interpretation. the above lays the foundation for the model of diversification research which followed by all the contents. it conducts monographic study on interpretation theory from nine main subjects and fields including the school of language, the school of cognition, the school of culture, the interpretive school, the school of Psychology, the school of function, corpus of interpretation, evaluation of interpretive quality, teaching and training about interpretation and so on.
